Ok, Ok, I Justify Myself A Lot

In Swahili there's a saying "Lisemwalo lipo, kama halipo linakuja". This can be literally translated to "That which is said is true (exists), if not, then it'll soon be true (it'll come)"

I've been told by more than one person that I justify myself a lot! Perhaps I always think I'm right and hate to humble myself and agree that I'm wrong! Well, I'm happy that I'm still learning about myself and have good friends to help me do it! I'm reflecting on how I can change myself!

Wishing you all a wonderful day! :)

Photos: Immaculata And Terence

Ladies and Gentlemen, presenting Immaculata and Terence

As they say, desperate occasions call for desperate measures! I took photos of the printed photos using my camera! Since the scanner in my office wasn't working! Beware (Photos may have suffered quality loss)

Otherwise, this is Imma, the girl who's making me very happy every day!

Love you baby (I know, I know I should've waited for the next batch of photos we were going to take, but my patience was just running away honey)!

p.s. These Photos were used by permission (from Imma) that they should not make it to facebook! :) May we all respect that :)

Christmas Play

Every since I returned home, I've been trying to organize a Christmas Play! Initially the idea was a Choral Concert, but after sharing my idea with a few people, the idea of a Christmas Play was born! I shared the idea with the youth leaders at the Parish, and they accepted the idea and we've been working together to make sure we actualize the idea! Yesterday, we had our first practice! As the director, actor and singer, it promises to be an interesting christmas for me and for the youth at my parish! Do pray for us!

One Month Old (10/10/10)

Yesterday, Immaculata and I celebrated our one month anniversary! While some of you, may actually laugh and think of this as childish, I've decided to listen to the age old advice that inspirational speakers have always given, celebrate your milestones! Take time to congratulate yourselves every single important step you take, and that is why, this one month anniversary, was so important!

~Love you Imma~

St. Bakhita Choir (The Choir I Sing For) Singing Bwana Moyo Wangu

Hello there, this video is of St. Bakhita Choir, the one I sing for! We had a short celebration on Sunday, starting with a thanksgiving mass and ending with a short celebration in the Youth's House at the parish! You may want to know about St. Bakhita (click on this link). She's an African Saint, and she's the patron saint of our choir! Not all the choir members were there! It's hard to get youths to sing! :) Different continents, same challenges! p.s. the actual video quality was much better, the current quality is the magic of youtube upload!

The song's chorus is:

Bwana Moyo wangu hauna kiburi, nayo macho yangu hayainuki!
Wala sijishughulishi na mambo makuu, yanayozishinda nguvu zangu

which roughly translates to:

Lord, my heart has no pride, and my eyes dare not rise
I bother not with things that are great, things I cannot tackle with my might!

Hug Girl Visits Blog

Today, I introduced Immaculata to tery's updates! I was a bit worried at first because she's not really a fan of social networks such as Facebook, something I found out after I had written about her on the blog! So I didn't know how she'll take it! She loved it! :) :)
