Old Flames And Crushes

When you've had a couple of crushes and maybe relationships... Once a while (at least I personally did), we are tempted to just reach out to those Old Flames... We (or at least I believed), that nothing could happen. Maybe we (I thought) think, we're too good to fall... Before you start wondering, I've not fallen!

Digging deeper into the Old Flames and Crushes issue, I realize how probably risky it is to involve one with them, beyond certain limits. A simple greeting would do. When you're in a committed relationship, Old Flames should be turned to ashes... Crushes, should be crushed... Commit yourself to that one person. Wanna chat? Chat with her (him) or only with "safe" friends. Wanna go out? Go out with her (him).

When you're ex or crush is in a committed relationship, why not respect that? Give them a break... Be not a source of temptation

I guess what I'm trying to say is, when you're seriously into a relationship, don't take it for granted... Treasure it, be honest, and enjoy the happiness that will surely come!

Imma's Graduation Day

Graduation is one of the most important stages of one’s life! Imma’s graduation was on the 23rd of October. Yes, it’s been quite long since then, but I’m just getting sometime now to write. Imma did her LLB (Bachelor’s of Law), at Tumaini University in a city called Iringa. When she asked me to go with her, I truly did feel honored. I felt honored because she gave me an opportunity to accompany her to one of the most important days of her life. As it so happened, no one else could accompany her from home, so I was her main escort!

Now, I’ve lived in Tanzania for most of my life! But I don’t know Tanzania. I only know the city I grew up in, Dar es Salaam. In fact, I barely know Dar, so traveling to Iringa was a great way to know this country just a little more! We left Dar early Thursday (21 Oct) in the morning around 6.30 am and reached Iringa around 4 or 5 pm. Mode of Transport: BUS!

As planned, we didn’t take much time sitting around. As soon as we dropped our bags we began moving around! Imma just had to show me the city where she studied and spent 3 years of her life! I also met her sisters; one of them, Levina, actually picked us up from the bus stop. It was a brief but enlightening evening in Iringa… We finished the day with some Kitimoto (local name for Pork, which is quite popular) and took time to rest!

Friday, well Friday was all Imma. She went to introduce me to Cecilia (Cecy), one of her good friends. Then we finally went to her University. Here there was a couple of stuff she had to do, some procedures she had to complete. I also got a chance to meet some old friends of mine, people I had gone to school with! After the first university visit, we took some time to rest in the afternoon and returned to the University again so that she could collect her Graduation Gown and have a round of rehearsals!

This is how you'll wear the gown
This is where we'll be seated...

"Where are you honey?" That's the text she was sending...

Later that evening, we did take some time trying out the gown... ;)

Showing off her gown to me

How do I look?

Yes, WE tried the gown... ;)

Graduation Day: The Day began with us going to book the tickets, early in the morning for our trip, the following morning! We then went to prepare for the graduation and the result of that preparation was:  (Yes, I dressed Indian)
Heading to the graduation

A series of events preceded the actual ceremony. First, people had to arrive, then they had to meet,

-    then they had to take photos with some friends,

-    and then they had to go fix their gowns (Ladies… phew)

-    then they had to go take their class photo

-    then they had to line up and then march as the band played on
She was constantly on the phone keeping family posted...

-    then they had to listen (mostly they didn’t) to the speeches

-    then they, ok I’ll be specific here, Imma graduated!

Imma, receiving her degree

-    Family and Friends were there to congratulate her!
From left: Sis Levina, Sis Annette, Imma and (oops i forgot)

Imma and Friend

-    We had a brief celebration!

The Adventure to Gangilonga:
Yes, it was her graduation, but Imma had to live up to her promise of taking me to a place called Gangilonga, a place she went to vent out her stress… I had heard so much about the place…

-    The Mission:

-    The Missioners

-    The Path

-    The ultimate challenge (Take this path up, or the whole trip is not worth it)

-    The View

-    The Sisters

Levina and Imma

-    The Couple
Beautiful pic, must say

Grace – The Photogenic girl
Well, this post just wouldn’t be complete without mentioning little Grace, who is Levina’s daughter. She’s gonna be breaking a lot of hearts with that smile… ;)

Hope you enjoyed reading guys… Imma, I love you!

WAGS - Wives And Girlfriends

Well, there are no actual Wives, but girlfriends! Hehehe! I've always wanted to use that word! Today I’m going to speak about two ladies, Prasanavika (Prasu) or more known more famously as Meow, and Natalie (Natty). These girls, my girls (we’ll get to this, hehehe), were Shrayas’ and Alfred Lazarus’ girlfriends (respectively). The reason I call them my girls, is because, well, they both secretly had love affairs with MOI … Muhahahahaha! (That’s supposed to be an evil laugh)

Meow:
This sweet girl belongs to Shrayas (and me of course). These two have known each other since primary school I believe and they’re now dating. I’m sorry I’ve forgotten how old your relationship is. Meow is doing her Electrical Electronical Engineering I believe, and she’s among the top in her class! Meow has a deep, a bit coarse and super sexy voice that makes you wanna talk to her whenever she’s one the phone. (No wonder Shrayas never picks up calls at night, even though he’s sees that your call is waiting). There’s probably not much I can write about Meow, because I’ve never really spent much time with her, but from the efforts that I’ve seen my man Shrayas  making to make this girl happy, I can tell she’s special and nice… Shrayas and Meow hope to marry one day and make babies XD! I wish them all the best in that! (p.s. to meow… I’m coming soon baby and we’ll elope)

Meow, my princess!!!

Meow and Shrayas!

Natty:
This lovely girl belongs to Alfy (and yes, you got it right, Me :) ). I believe Natty and Alfy met each other, either through a gamers or artists meeting. Not quite sure how long ago that was and they’ve loved each other ever since. What’s perhaps unique about this couple is that Natty is older than Alfy (Which is a plus for me of course, as I’m older than Natty). Despite the age thing, these guys still manage to stay together as a healthy couple, I guess it does say a lot about Alfy’s maturity. Natty is a great artist! I’ve seen some of her best work live and also on Facebook! She’s good at designing and drawing! Looking at this couple, I can’t stop thinking that Natty is the naughty one. Well, it’s because she’s pretty straight forward, bold and knows what she wants! Boy I love those qualities in a lady! I keep praying that this couple too, just like I do for Meow and Shrayas get married and make babies XD!

Presenting Natalie

Alfy and Natalie!

Perhaps the one thing that I wish is that I got to spend more time with these ladies! They were a great source of happiness and a little distraction once a while to my best friends! It’s a pleasure knowing you, hopefully we’ll learn more about each other!
